Hey there, dear listeners! I was thrilled to have Karen Wolfer from Dog Ear Audio spend some time chatting with me. I love me some audio books so you know I want to make sure you all know about the great products at Dog Ear such as Radclyffe’s Safe Harbor, Kim Baldwin’s Breaking the Ice, the lovely Georgia Beers’ Starting from Scratch, and many more.
Spend a few minutes with us and get some behind the scenes info on how audio books are made and what’s on the horizon at Dog Ear. Head over to http://www.dogearaudio.com/ to see all of the wonderful books on offer. If you’re on Facebook, you can keep up with what’s happening with Dog Ear by liking their page at http://www.facebook.com/DogEarAudio.
But wait! There’s more! Karen has generously offered up an audio book for one of you lucky listeners. That’s right! An audio book of your choice from the Dog Ear catalog. All you need to do is post a comment here no later than November 16th. That’s it!
Best of luck to you and, remember, audio books make great additions to your daily commute. Now you can listen to great books and support a small, community business at the same time.
Now post your comment and get entered for the drawing!

Dog Ear audiobooks are great. Can’t have enough of those! I especially enjoy the ones read by the authors themselves.
Good luck!! And TJ said you can’t give me the audio book if you win. She sucks.
Thanks so much to Karen and Dog Ear Audio for bringing lesbian fiction into the audio format. It’s a great service to our community.
I completely agree! You’ve got a nice voice, Bev…
Good luck in the drawing!
Not like the melodious Ann MacMann. But thanks anyway. ๐
I have two of the dogear audiobooks. Hit by the farm and the kim baldwin one.
I think I may pick up the Kim Baldwin book next.
Good luck, Michelle!
Love audio books. Thanks Karen and Dog Ear.
Thanks for listening and commenting, Cheyenne! Best of luck in the drawing!
Thanks for this, Cheri, it’s an interesting interview. I love audiobooks and think they don’t get nearly enough attention (my library has only started to supply a tiny selection this month, and they’re not at the stage where they’re taking suggestions!)
It’s exciting to see professional audio lesfic – I’ve been keeping an eye on Dog Ear Audio for a while to see what they’re going to cover, and I’d love to win a book of theirs ๐
You know that if you win, Alena is going to be very upset.
She won a book already! I never have *sob*
But she’s not won anything here…
Wonderful show. I love audio books and I appreciate the time and care that Dog Ear puts into each one.
Thanks for your comment, Cheryl. Good luck in the drawing!
