Author Chris Paynter joined us tonight to chat a little bit about her new book, To Love Free. We also chatted just a bit about her experiences moving from a publishing house to self publishing.
If you’re looking for even more of Chris, give a listen to her first guest spot on Cocktail Hour when we talked about Survived by Her Longtime Companion, which Andy and I both enjoyed very much.
You can purchase or download samples of all of Ms. Paynter’s books by clicking here.

I thoroughly enjoy Chris’s books…and To love Free…was so very realistic and touching…thanks for writing that book!
Thank you, Renate, for your kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed To Love Free.
Just wanted to let you know that I listened to this podcast while out on my evening walk. Cancer is such a relevant topic for so many people so I thank you for having the courage to write this book. I instantly went on Bella when I got back to my house and purchased the eBook! Looking forward to relaxing and reading this book.
Hi Cooper. Thank you. I felt compelled to write it. It seemed everywhere we turned, someone we loved was diagnosed with cancer or a loved one had just passed away from the disease. More than anything, I wanted the book to be about hope. Which is what Free, the dolphin, represents in the story. Thank you for buying the book! I hope you enjoy it. If you can, let me know what you think when you’re done.
